One week ago today we launched the Central Florida Birth Network!! Something that so many of us in our community have been talking about and working towards for years now.
It is surreal. It is exciting. It is scary… It is fantastic.
Over the last six months or so we have had so much encouragement and support in the lead up to this launch.

So, what is the Central Florida Birth Network? CFBN exists to advocate for holistic and informed pregnancy and birth care; and to encourage deep community for individuals, families, and birth professionals.
What does that mean? We’re a group of birth professionals: doulas, midwives, chiropractors, pelvic floor physical therapists, etc who are working toward making pregnancy and birth better in Central Florida.

A calendar of events with networking events for birth workers to come together and build connection and community; events for pregnant folks, expectant parents and families to learn about their pregnancy and birth options in our community; as well as events for families and newly postpartum parents to share your stories and connect with others who understand the beauty and the complexities of this life.
Our birth professional directory that will help expectant parents find the right professional for them. Our growing directory has doulas, midwives, massage therapists, chiropractors, pelvic floor physical therapists, herbalists, placenta processors, and so many more options to search from. We hope to become the primary resources for folks looking for a birth professional in Central Florida.
The membership application to join CFBN as a birth professional, be listed in our birth professionals directory, and gain access to exclusive early-bird or member only benefits. Additionally, your membership fee supports us in our mission. Your membership supports our ongoing activities and presence in Central Florida including: community outreach, childbirth options seminars, birth story circles, networking meetings and more.
We are so excited for the future of CFBN. We have so many goals that we are looking to accomplish in the next few months and in the long term. We hope that you’ll follow us on your socials, join the network if you can, and share us with your friends!
