Your Leadership Circle

CFBN’s leadership is carried by a team of dedicated volunteer officers and guided by the wisdom of our volunteer advisory board and committees. Together, they bring diverse expertise and lived experiences to shape our vision, strengthen our programs, and ensure that our work stays rooted in reproductive justice and holistic support.

  • Co-Chair

Sarah Foster is a BADT-trained Full Spectrum Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Repro Justice Advocate rooted in Central Florida. She offers intuitive, holistic support across the full spectrum of reproductive experiences, with a heart for holding space where people feel seen, honored, and empowered.

Her journey began more than 20 years ago as a teen mother, guided by the wisdom of strong women in her community. Those early lessons continue to shape her purpose: ensuring that every person, regardless of background, has access to judgment-free, compassionate care and resources.

Today, Sarah channels that purpose through her leadership at CFBN, her volunteer work with Black in Repro (BIR), and her passion project, Legacy Postpartum Retreat, a vision for nourishing new parents through rest, community, and holistic healing. When not immersed in this work, she finds joy in her garden or recharging with friends over Mexican food.

    ¡Buen Día! Buen Día!!

I am deeply humbled and honored to accept the position of Co-Chair and to continue upholding CFBN's dedication to bringing diverse expertise and lived experiences to shape our vision, strengthen our programs, and ensure that our work remains rooted in reproductive justice and holistic support.

Allow me to introduce myself—My name is Aelis Rivera (She/They), SM, FSD, CBE, CPE. I am a proud Queer BIPOC Partera in Training (Student Midwife) studying at Commonsense Childbirth School of Midwifery. I am also a Full Spectrum Doula (via BADT), a Certified Perinatal Community Educator and Health Worker, and a Certified Perinatal Educator.

For the past 25+ years, I have worked as a Child Abuse, Domestic Violence, and LGBTQIA+ Survivor Advocate. Transitioning into the perinatal field was a natural progression for me. My primary goal has been to combine my years of advocacy with my full-spectrum work to provide accessible, inclusive, and respectful care, education, and resources to individuals throughout all aspects of their reproductive journeys.

  • Director of Communications

Ana Munoz is the owner and founder of Mind & Body Motherhood.  Her mission in life is to bring balance back to the body and mind as you navigate your childbearing years.  She does this through services such a massage therapy, hypnosis & doula support.

With over 10 years of experience serving the birthing community, she has seen the effects stress, and overwhelm have on the body, mind, and pregnancy overall. However, it doesn’t have to be that way.  You can navigate pregnancy with a well-supported body, mind, and birth team.

Ana is excited and proud to be a member of the Central Florida Birth Network and bring awareness to all the amazing providers working alongside her to shift and transform the way you navigate your childbearing year.
